COVID-19 HUD Issued Waivers

HUD’s Office of Public and Indian Housing (PIH) has issued PIH Notice 2020-05 which allows Agencies to waive and establish COVID-19-related alternative requirements for multiple statutory and regulatory requirements for the public housing program, the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program, and other housing programs. Raleigh Housing Authority has accepted several of these waivers, and will utilize them as necessary to help keep programs operational to the fullest extent possible.
